...He's not disturbed in any kind of diseased way, just. He's a special boy. His thoughts basically ping around his skull like a Superball on a kilo of crystal meth - very quick, very erratic, and very prone to random jumping between barely-vaguely-connected topics.

Yep.

Strong mind, so not particularly susceptible, but. I'm assuming he's not big in Occlumency, so it's possible for him to go under.
