7. I get irritated with people who talk about Old Lyme negatively.

I don't know why, but I totally agree with this statement. I thought I was the only person in the world!

I think it has a lot to do with just having been there my whole life. I know that by the time we all finish high school we're ready for something new, to an extent. But something about Old Lyme makes me unrealistically happy and I miss it all the time.

It may not have stores and shopping malls and fast food places and movie theaters and be considered a small town bore, but that is what I love most about it.
