Who Dares Wins

Nov 21, 2011 22:34

Just gotten back from seeing a gameshow, Who Dares Wins being filmed. This was fun to watch although it was hard to keep the answers bottled up! Plus I was in touching distance of Nick Knowles for whom I have a massive soft spot!

And hello to my new friends from:
Tina's Fabulous Winter Friending Meme :)

They filmed two shows with us and the second team got to £25k! (Where can I apply?!) As much as I love Nick Knowles I think I prefer In It To Win It. Although with that they describe in such detail why they are picking an answer which frustrates me.

Hello! :D

Ohhh awesome! & totally agree I always watch it on sky plus so I can fast forward if they annoy me with their life stories and explanations haha

Watching always makes me want to apply. Especially with those ones and million pound drop. I COULD TOTALLY DO IT, she says from the safety of her living room where no actual money is at stake.

I sometimes mute it and talk with my friend, and just look for the questions coming up on screen. But I like the idea of just sky+ing it.

I've not actually seen Million Pound Drop. How about Deal or No Deal? Let's play a game of chance! The downside being the time investment since I think they are some weird cult that just have their box and guard it until it's finally their time to play and everyone is such good friends.. I think the fact that I'd go 1, 2, 3 etc disqualifies me (same goes for Secret Fortune, which always confuses me. They change the rules part way through!)

Man, I'm happy to have another English person on my flist so I can ramble like this! Haha.

Seriously? Well, it probably helps that you're in a nice insulated flat that doesn't lose 1 degree per day if there's no heating as of mid-October. I hardly ever had the heating on when I was in a hall of residence in Manchester.

Yeah, this is probably true. Although someone has opened the window in the hallway and I can't figure out how to close it :( It makes my flat feel colder, especially in my hall and bedroom *grumble*
