Tonight I went to roller derby. Oh boy am I sore! It was fun but it wasn't at all like I was expecting. I think there were fewer people than usual there - in fact it was mostly kids from the juniors. Pity about the age thing. Hopefully there'll be more people another time, with more varied ages.

You're so serious, I tend to open mine when I get them. :-) And wow, it was pretty fast considering it was sent from the countryside, I went to the post office on Thursday.

Maybe there will be more people your age next time, but I really don't blame you for not wanting to do it with a bunch of kids. I wouldn't either.

aw that's disappointing- maybe you could ask the person running it if there's ones that run with older people. i wouldn't want to do it with kids either - even forgetting about wanting to meet people your own age how are you supposed to roughouse~ children? i'd feel bad. and then even worse what if they were better than you? haha i'm looking for ballet classes and the fear of being in a class of tiny perfect children who are all superior to me is putting a halt to it.

I got the impression that there's just one session, but there's usually more of a range. The ad said 14 - 44 yrs old so.. I live in hope.

I know though, I feel like there's laws to stop me hitting kids so.. I wasn't very comfy. I don't mind the sprogs being better than me since they have been doing it longer.

Well I'm pretty sure that you can find adult dance classes!
