so colin and i saw harry potter at midnight. we weren't going to and then suddenly we were buying the tickets. it was good, and every new HP movie is exciting. but man i've never seen a movie version of a book gloss over more. really, that movie should have been 3 hours not 2. it was disappointing to see them take out so much that matters to

I saw it last night, and as a non-reader, I thought it got the core of whatever story it was trying to across. I think they try to market the movies to the people who read the books, but also try to make them short enough for people like me not to go ape shit with boredom over knit-picky details and side stories. I thought it was plenty long, any longer I might've lost it. Good movie though.
