Welcome to the first post in my LiveJournal! Well, technically this isn't the first post in my LiveJournal, that's the next post, but I wanted to put this backdated post here as a sort of preface and wrapper to anyone who comes here to start from the beginning. On a similar note, I'm about to make a forward-dated post for similar reasons.
It's going to be a very short preface, partly to say that when I first started blogging I was a virgin blogger, and therefore there isn't a huge amount of erudite or interesting things to read - arguably that hasn't changed, but you have a read and decide for yourself. Also to say that the first year or three of blogging was mostly public, reflective and diary-like. I was in a bad depressing place, and it is therefore similarly depressing reading. I'm not sure where things got more optimistic, but you may wish to skip some years.
Of late I'm more blog-savvy, and although I still write about what I want, and treat this as a diary - more so than entertainment for the reader - and pretty much only make friends-only posts (which means you'll need a LiveJournal account to read them), and things are hopefully more interesting and positive.
