so i'm in mongolia right now. it's not that much colder than canada (well, waterloo at least), and it's always sunny. the ground is covered with a layer of snow/ice even though it hasn't snowed since i got here and there's constantly people hacking away at it with these shovel-thingies trying to clear the roads. apparently they don't have machines
