jibberish

i started getting bored with writing my total commander clone, so i gave it a break and switched to writing jibberish. finally. i have rss working already.. thank god for being able to parse XML in 99 lines of code. including comments and a rather spaced-out coding style :). although i dislike java's gui.. everything looks hideous. i'll work on the ( Read more... )

it's what i originally planned as a clone of trillian in java. however, it's probably going to be quite different from trillian. the only main similarity is that it'll support a wide range of protocols and you'll be able to do all IM/RSS/POP3/IMAP/whatever from there. even bittorrent :)

i'll do that.. but beware.. i'm probably not going to provide installation instructions at all. in fact, rather than take the time to come up with test/install plans, i'm just going to label it as very user-unfriendly and slap disclaimers all over it. :)

so far i've only run them on freebsd. but it's in java, so theoretically they work on any platform with a jvm.
