Oh, my god, I've had this bookmarked in my "to read" folder and when I finally had an entire afternoon free I decided to try it - and I'm so glad I did, and had enough time to finish it in one go, because I couldn't stop reading. This is fantastic. I adore every one of the knights and love how you managed to bring out each of their personalities and quirks so seamlessly! I'm trying to decide which one is my favorite, and I think in the first half it was Bedevere, but by the end it might have just become Kay. Willard was especially hilarious, but so was Caradoc, and even Romford in his sarcasm. Hee!

When I wasn't giggling at the knights and their banter, I was usually tearing up at Merlin and Arthur - you describe their devotion and loyalty and affection for each other so damn well, it broke my heart over and over. I was pretty much clutching my heart at the scene when Arthur showed up at the cave to find Merlin. OH BOYS.

In conclusion, this is lovely and hilarious and amazing!

This sounds really interesting. May I suggest you post to the AO3 or somewhere where it can be read as a whole as well? My connection is being a bitch this week and I have been trying to load parts 3 & 4 for a while now and well... you just have to paste it wherever and it shouldn't take long...? :p
