Disgust.

Idk where else to post this, so here goes. On Dr Phil today (I watch DP...come at me bro) he had the mother and sister of Shanda Sharer on (the wiki of her murder) a 12 year old girl who in 1992 was abducted from her home, tortured for an entire night, and then set on fire while she was still alive by 4 teenage girls, all because Shanda "stole" one ( Read more... )

That's so sad. I cannot imagine what Shanda's family is going through, knowing that those women are just getting away with it all. I think the least they deserve is death. That or to never, ever have the possibility of getting released due to being a "model prisoner". No wonder why you're depressed, I'm depressed just from reading this. :(

I know! Sometimes I cannot understand the legal system. I don't know how Shanda's family goes on knowing how much she suffered. They still seem very effected by it. On Monday they will be confronting one of her killers. I hope that can give them some peace.

One of the the most disturbing things about this is that 4 sociopaths with no regard for human life were in the same place at the same time. This is like a nightmare, or something out of Law and Order: SVU. Unbelievable! I really hope that somehow, Shanda's family finds peace. :(

Ugh I completely agree. It was like the perfect storm getting these idiots together. The 2 girls that stayed back to take a nap are now out of jail...they both had the perfect opportunity to alert the police and save this girl's life, and they set her on fire instead. SMH.

I don't know that they could ever find peace knowing how much she suffered, and how little punishment her perpetrators received.
