Pignoli woes

Warning for those of you who love food:
Last week for lunch I made this. It serves two so I ate it for lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday I worked from home because of the parade for the Mavs downtown, so I ate lunch at home. That sucks. :(

A friend of ours here told us about this a few weeks ago. Apparently she got it but she said it was from pine nuts of certain areas and not of their freshness. I guess I should be more careful because I keep pine nuts around forever, lol.

I read the same thing. I don't know where my pine nuts were from, but I did eat some of them right after I bought them and didn't have this problem. I didn't eat as many then as I ate Tuesday and Wednesday though. So I'm not entirely sure what triggers it. If it's the amount, or how old they are, or where they are from and the ones I ate previously from the same bag were a fluke. Or maybe they were several species of pine nuts and I lucked out getting the non-pine mouth species when I ate them last time.
