that sucks. but at least they told you. i haven't gotten a rejection letter in about a decade, i swear, including two jobs that i interviewed for. interview! and they didn't even follow up to tell me they'd hired someone else.

is warren still all "go alaska"?

i actually got TWO rejections! ha one at the GS-9 and one at the GS-11 ranking.

maybe cuz it is the govt they are *cough* efficient?

warren is and isn't gung ho alaska. i mean, he would gladly drop everything and go if i got a job but he is not personally applying to any jobs. a reflection of the fact that he is happy with the status quo but likes bitching and looks to me to be the change.

i want to go but i'm okay with going next year or the year after yk? i don't feel like it has to be NOW. i want to go for a good job in a good spot--not just take whatever i can get. if i'm giving up everything it needs to be for a good reason.
