okay. here is the thing. it's BEAUTIFUL, the message is wonderful and gorgeously expressed, and I love everything about it except for the Che shirts. I just... when I see someone with a Che shirt, I always want to stop them and ask them where they're coming from with that. Imean I honestly would like to know. when I see a child with a Che shirt, it gives me pause in a big way. I don't know what the idea behind wearing a Che shirt is... the cuban revolution was hilarious, cute, glamorous, whimsical? so. I mean I was looking at it, thinking, oh my friend so and so would LOVE this, except, err, no, she'd hate it because she's Cuban and the bandying about of Che's image really offends her.
thanks for the input! i definitely do not want it to be offensive. by using che's image i wasn't going for hilarious, cute, glamorous or whimsical rather i was trying to show satchel's decision to dress himself free of gender as a revolutionary act. and then starting a revolution at school.
che is a well known revolutionary so i went with that.
