so dh was diagnosed with strep last week. he took a blood test for lyme disease too. the dr. just called and said it was positive! it is early so he will probably be ok--just needs some antibiotics. but he is still working 10 hour days in 90 degree heat in the tick infested mark twain national forest.

poor guy.

bedtime doesn't seem so bad now. :(

oh no - Lyme disease is some serious stuff, so glad they caught it.
And M was right about the sitting on logs thing. People think the ticks are dropping on them from trees. But mostly they are in the logs and the underbrush.

Arg! Get his ass home for some R and R, I say. Or not...you don't need you and the kids getting strep.

I'm glad they caught the lyme early. But still.
