i'd say it's fine as long as you take extra care to make sure they don't cough on or share saliva with pregnant ladies or little babies. for the most part, everyone is now vaccinated and most adults are immune.
chicken pox is tricky because it's also contagious before any spots show up.
you know what's weird? we are the last generation in which nearly all the kids actually had chicken pox. our chicken pox scars are going to be like our parents' polio vaccine scars.
"Pregnant women who have a history of a previous chicken pox infection or who have been immunized have antibodies to the virus. These antibodies are transferred to the infant through the placenta throughout the pregnancy. Therefore, pregnant women who are immune and are exposed to someone with chicken pox do not need to worry about complications for themselves or their infant."

You might want to check with your airline...
My friends hubby got chickenpox on their honeymoon (fun huh?) and they wouldn't let him fly home untill they where healed. That was a few years ago though, so things might have changed.
And kayla and stephen both had chicken pox and it was easy easy. Stephen had a VERY light case and ended up getting them twice (at 1.5 and then at 6) both times where not that bad.
i hope it doesnt pop up on em and screw up the good times :) but if it does, at least it's a mild thing and ya'll will be done with it! i wish maya would get em!
