It's kind of like an extended friend's page in lj -- it collects syndicated content & puts it all in one place. I have some lj communities in there that I don't want cluttering my friends page, I have front page news from the BBC & NYTimes, random blogs from all over. In my mama stuff I have you and Ariel, & some other mama people. In fact, here, you can go look at kind of what it looks like here. Except in my account, it keeps track of what has been read, and what I've saved to read later (or again and again and again...). It's a tool I rely heavily on. I love aggregators & this one in particular since I can access it from anywhere (which is important to me since I work & have two different computers at home).

I almost dropped you in a flist cut last week becasue I was trying to be all hardassed with myself on getting my list down to a reasonable number but I just couldn't do it. I couldn't!

I'm a terrible blog reader. I'm sorry. Maybe I should start one just so I have that blogroll thing at the side and then I can just click through like it is a friendslist.
