Here we are at the 15th. After a glorious 9 day stay at Allegheny General Hospital. I am home. Still taking it easy. Can't be on my foot to long or it starts to bother me. Yet another day here. Foot is getting better and better. Hopefully i'll be out soon. So not used to being in bed for days and days. Trying to stay positive. Just a little lonely. A very sad day indeed. Today i learned that Mr. DeMore has passed on. Always the "picture perfect" of health, until recently finding he had cancer. Chemo too much for him. He was kinda like the father i wish i had. Knowing him since i was 10 years old, working at his pizza shop, and just hanging out. Many goodtimes were had late night at the deli ( Read more... )

what a day. it all started 3am. woke up to early for work. i was opening so alarm was 415. didnt want to sleep in and mess things up, so i stayed awake. So relieved that Noah has been and is getting better and better after surgery. YAY. Counts are up and increasing. All good stuff. Been working too many days at the store. yuck.

All my energies are focused away from me and directed somewhere where there are needed more. Focused across oceans to the land down under to the city of Sydney. Taking a deep breath. Noah give me the heads up so i can exhale. I'm just a little worried.
