Sorry, we have no experience with Niko's. I think. Ask Chris, we went to someplace downtown that was pricey and very very tasty (at least mine was). The portions were generally held to be much too small, though.

Other than the aquarium and local parks, the only things we've done for fun are ride bicycles and have people visit. I get the impression there's lots of outdoorsy stuff to do, but we haven't done any of it yet, except a fun little wildflowers trail that was actually about an hour a way, in Georgia.
The Nantahala and Ocoee are good places for whitewater fun, but they're 1-2 hours from here, I believe. You might Google them and see, though.
We have done very little in Chattanooga that is not suitable for the toddler crowd, which pretty much rules out most of what you'd be interested in, I imagine

I went to Ruby Falls once (I think there's one in GA I went to, if not, then this one) and it blew. If you want to see a cave go see Mammoth Cave in KY.
