I was skeptical to the the last because it all seemed to good to be true but. THEY DID FIND EPISODES. ENEMY OF THE WORLD OMG ¤3¤ And Brig's first serial. YETIS

That or they have their own business and do work from home? Maybe selling something/s? And the children are alternatively helping or underfoot which doesn't help Toba and Rago's relationship any. Also they argue about appropriate amount of naptimes a lot.
Aah, that's an interesting point. I guess in that case the interestingness sort of still shines through the surface, which... has an enjoyably cheesy crust. Or too cheesy, depending on your taste. I might have gone too far with that food metaphor.
EDIT: Also, I just checked Rago's actor Ronald Allen, and he also plays Professor Ralph Cornish in Ambassadors of Death, which might explain why I thought he seemed familiar. Cornish and his boyfriend Timothy Todd (Todd, eh? x3) later meet Eight... unrelated but kind of cool info.
My flister liadtbunny adores The Dominators! I still haven't seen it, but I have hopes, because I love Two, Jamie & Zoe and frequently the supposedly rubbish episodes!
And I am forever flailing at the news of the discovery! How astounding and miraculous is it? *flails again*
I think my initial low expectations helped me enjoy it more, perhaps. Actually liked the Dominators a lot more than Seeds of Death, though I might have just been too tired when I saw that.
Dominators = <3! I made an icon set and had Rago as an icon for a while. Why 'The Dominators' is so unloved I don't know, plenty of other rubbishy serials have their fans.
I think Rago & Toba loved each other at the start but by the time of 'The Dominators' were driving each other nuts. Imagine doing the washing up with Toba: stubborn stain? Quarks destroy! Rago hates eating off paper plates.
In fact the Dominators aren't dead. Yes, their boiler insulation jackets are bomb proof survival jackets. It' the TRUTH!
I love the bit where Rago goes to the council to tell them he's taking over and the head Dulcian is like "Can you come back next week?" and Rago flips. It's not what you expect when taking over is it?
Yeah, it did seem like a pretty infected marriage (or, maybe Dominators have something like the antique pederasty but without the underage thing?). x3 Also that's pretty much exactly what myself and gluecookie joked about, re. their domestic life. :'D
Ooooh, I can see it now:
*sitting in a cramped escape capsule* Togo: "Well this wouldn't have happened if you'd let me destroy them :I" Rago: >8U
x'''D
Also yes, I actually laughed a bit when they killed that one council guy, and then felt slightly terrible. But srsly they were just that frustrating to watch...
I love love love The Dominators. It's just... ridiculous fun old sci-fi? Toba and Rago are amazing, and the differences between the aliens are sort of implausibly large and the Doctor and co are amazing. I am 100% with you here.
