I've had a bad-ish week. For the first few days of the week Geoff and I weren't getting along again and had mucho ignorage and arguing fests. Since I was in a bad mental state, it felt like every customer I had was grumpy too. And to make it worse, my tongue has had this evil little blister/cut right on the tip at the front since early in the week ( Read more... )

Next Top Model can fix almost any ailment. The australian and germand cycles are also fab-u-lous.
I'm sorry you are having a rough time. I'm sending you LJ hugs!

Thanks for the LJ hugs, Nazzy. :) They're so young in the Aus cycles though. I loved the first Canadian cycle, and the British cycle. Now I'm watching a few American cycles.

The second canadian cycle has Mr. Jay as host and he's fab in all his orange gloriousness. There is one cycle of ANTM where Tyra loses her shit and totally starts yelling at this girl. I don't remember what cycle its from though, but here is the amusing youtube link.

HUGS! It's not going to be easy for you and Geoff to live together until the immigration is done. You and he may have to re-think it, but I know that you've already thought about it so much and I understand why you're doing it. You're bound to feel depressed and out of sorts because your life is not the way you want it to be right now, and you need to wait until you can make it into what you want. You can't even really deal with breaking up with Geoff until you're not living together.

The sore on your tongue is a canker-sore. If you rinse it with a bit of mouthwash twice a day it'll go away a lot faster, although it'll sting at the time and then feel numb. The best mouthwash is Listerine. The sores often do seem to be more likely in times of stress. I think it makes your saliva change its pH value and that affects your mouth.
