I hate hate their dirty heads on ash wednesday.
like the more dirt they have the better they are to God.
oh! don't rub it off, it has to stay all day, everyone has
to see what I hypocrite I am.

what sick costum is that???? i mean, we have ash-wednesday to, and roses-monday and all that stuff and it's dressing up and getting drunk. but what the fuck is that ash-stuff supposed to do???

...oh and ash wednesday and all that stuff is not related to god and religion. at least not here. it's to welcome to spring and make all the bad spirits of the winter go away. so why ash and god????? I'm confused

not completely sure.
but they burn palm leaves from palm sunday and then they go to mass, on ash wednesday and they put a cross of ashes on their foreheads. and it starts lent. where they give up something of importance for 40 days (until easter) to mimic Jesus fasting for 40 days before his cruxifiction

i don't think that i mind the ashes, it's the part where they put ashes on their forehead, and then they do and say nothing any of the rest of their days to further the meanings of the "ashes". but i guess whatever works for them, it's a catholic thing, and there's a lot of catholic things that i don't understand.
