Timeline and Profile for OC
Well I've been writing for this original character for Criminal Minds for a little bit now...and well not all of it is posted. So I'm going to be putting together a timeline and a definitive profile for her, so that before you read about her you can get to know her a bit better.
The Basics
Name: Juliana Elizabeth Taylor (In later stories her last name does become Prentiss)
Reason for her name: Her father had wanted to name her Elizabeth Juliana, however her mother didn't want her daughter saddled with the name Elizabeth Taylor. The name Juliana comes from both of her grandmothers: Juliet and Anabelle...and Elizabeth was the name of her mothers best friend: Elizabeth Prentiss.
Age: Depends on the story that you are reading...some of them take place when Juliana (and Emily) are very young (as young as 9) and go until their ages now (around 36).
Parents: Sean & Dinah Taylor (who died in a bombing when she was 9) Juliana was mainly raised in the home of Elizabeth Prentiss who took her in after her parents death. (The bomb also killed Elizabeth's husband [and Emily's father] Edward Prentiss.)
Occupation: S.S.A. (Supervisory Special Agent) with the FBI (She used to be aligned with the British equivalent of the BAU.)
Spouse: (Eventually): Emily Prentiss (in some fics they are married in others their relationship status in up in the air. ;) )
Children: (Eventually): twins Spencer (girl) & Taylor (boy) Prentiss and later Jenna Prentiss
Friends: Other than the members of the BAU, Juliana shares a special bond with former BAU team member Elle Greenaway.
General Timeline:
June 4th 1971- Juliana is born in London, England
October 12th 1971- Emily is born
November 18th 1980- Juliana's parents & Emily's father are killed in a bombing in Geneva, Switzerland. Elizabeth Prentiss, who was Dinah Taylor's best friend in college takes in Juliana to raise.
1986- Juliana, Emily & Elizabeth move to Italy after posts in the Ukraine & various countries in the Middle East. Emily's rebellious stage starts, resulting in her getting pregnant and having an abortion.
1987- Juliana & Emily start their sexual relationship
1988- Elizabeth catches the girls in an inappropriate situation and she decides to send Juliana to a London boarding school for her senior year of high school.
1989- Emily & Juliana graduate high school and both head to Yale resuming their relationship.
1993- They graduate from college, Juliana breaks up with Emily after four years of off and on, she heads back to London to further her education at Oxford.
2000- Juliana writes her first book about profiling, during a book tour she and Emily renew their relationship and this time leave it on better terms.
2005- Juliana is at a conference in the US when she is raped by Edwin Lee (twin brother of William Lee from the episode Aftermath) She doesn't report the crime, and she doesn't get treatment either...resulting in a pregnancy. The fear that resulted in Juliana shutting herself inside her London flat, only leaving for doctors appointments. During her self imposed imprisonment, Juliana writes her second book.
April 2006- Juliana gives birth to a girl that she gives up for adoption to a couple in the US who insist on an open adoption.
Oct. 2006- Elle Greenaway shoots Edwin Lee (sent to die by his brother) After seeing a newspaper article about the shooting, Juliana once again feels safe again. She begins to write to Elle, unknowing that her best friend actually took Elle's place after she left the BAU.
April 2008- Juliana travels to the US for three things: To see Emily, to meet up with Elle and to go to her biological daughters 2nd birthday party. She finally confesses to Emily what happened to her. Juliana then decides to stay in the US for an undetermined amount of time, officially on loan from the British govt.
