A Snippet From A Song That Suits You Well:
We find the people of our dreams
We find that they're not what they seem
I've learned that people come and go
I've learned that families break and grow
Toy soldiers brave away those tears
Toy soldiers hope for better years
Today I strike out on my own
The dog is dead. We kids have grown.

A Little Deeper…
What Were You Like as a Child? I didn't do so well. I was very much in need of more attention. I remember constantly trying to find someone to play with me (with a working single mother, I was usually SOL). I made up a lot of games and worlds in my head and I often vacated the real world for them. I had very few friends (though the ones I had I still have...) I was prone to very nasty, dark emotional outbursts in which I would harm the people around me. I believed everything negative about myself that I could think of.
What Career Did You Dream of? Astronaut.
What is the Best Thing That’s Ever Happened to You? Such a competition! Many good things have happened to me. I've found the love of my life, though, so that's most likely #1.
What is the Worst Thing That’s Ever Happened to You? I was emotionally abused as a child, which is what lead to so much angstiness back then. I think I would be more emotionally stable if I didn't have that background. It frustrates me no end that I can't trust my emotions, that I can't trust myself to do something as simple as go on an overnight trip with friends or something without knowing there's a possibility I might simply collapse.
What is Your Biggest Fear? That I won't be able to live with the fact that I'm transgender and will feel the need to do something about it, aka female-to-male transition. I'm somewhat closeted and generally terrified, and most definitely not willing to put all my treasured relationships on the line, not even for myself.

What is Your Favorite Childhood Memory? I used to have this recurrent dream of being lead up into an invisible white room above the attic of my house by a woman dressed in white. The sun streamed through the windows there and I would have lots of toys to play with. Everything there was white, and I was always happy there. Is it sad that my favorite memory is a dream? If I have to think of another, it would be the all-natural Fruit-Rollup-imposters, or watching Mr. Ed with my mom.

What is your Favorite Part from Any of The Books?
Bella and Edward's first car ride back from Port Angeles-- wherein her latest theory bursts his bubble of isolation
Which Character(s) Do You Relate to The Most? Alice. Nothing I like more than planning (or overplanning?) an event. I planned a dinner for my grad department several years ago, and it's still talked about often as "what not to do" and this week even someone said to someone else, quite seriously, that I must have been trying to bankrupt the department. hey! I asked if there was a spending limit, and they said no! Not my fault. I've already got Bella and Edward's wedding planned down to the minutiae. Plus I have her hair cut-- and I tend to have a ridiculous amount of energy.
Which Character(s) Can You Imagine Being Friends With? Oh, most. I get along with most anyone, with one caveat: I'm really incapable of not speaking my mind. I say what I think and feel, so if someone is excessively sensitive (because, truly, I rarely think or feel much negative about people), I am not going to take censorship for anyone's feelings.
Which Character(s) Can You Imagine Being Romantically Involved With? Mm, Carlisle. he reminds me of my husband-- very easy going and forgiving and quiet and hard to upset or disrupt much. My husband takes everything as it comes to him and doesn't worry much (unlike me), and Carlisle is a bit that way as well. He's also very logical.
If You Could Sit Down and Talk to Any Character Who Would it be? Oh I don't care, I'd take anyone ^^ Seriously, only one? Aro, because whatever he would have to say would be the hardest to get from other sources, and he seems the most friendly of the Volturi. Um, I hope I survive.
Your Favorite Quotes from The Books: "Sleep Bella. Dream happy dreams. You are the only one who has ever touched my heart, it will always be yours, sleep my only love." (Plus I love a lot of the humorous lines. Nothing compares to, "I think she's having hysterics. Maybe you should slap her.", though there are sooooo many good ones.)
