Ok ... I admit it ...
I've actually begun to miss working. Not particularly the job itself (esp the one I recently left!) ... it's more that I miss the money. I hate not having any extra $$ for the little things I enjoy. More dragonflies . . .
Dragonflies are actually kinda funny little creatures ... I went out to the garden yesterday & a big green one landed on a leaf right in front of me ... he seemed to just sit there and look at me. Wish I'd had my camera! -
Saving dragonflies . . .
When we arrived home from wally-world this afternoon, I noticed there was a dragonfly in one of the freakin' spider webs stuck to the front porch ... I didn't remember seeing it before we left, but it wasn't moving. I got the broom to take it down (I can't stand seeing them hang from the webs), and it fluttered ... it *was* still alive! Sketti squash
Mmmmmm......I do believe spaghetti squash is my new fave veggie ... especially when it's from my garden! Hubby's working late so I've cooked up half a spaghetti squash, one yellow squash, and a few pieces of zucchini to mix it up. What a frellin' weekend . . .
We've had crazy thunderstorms (and it looks like there's another one aiming right for us now) ... last night A called to say that K's father was taken to the hospital w/a possible stroke. Last we heard, he'd lost vision in one eye and they thought there was a chance he might have a major stroke over night, so we're waiting for a phone call this ( Read more... ) -

Storms all over again today ... after they said it would be a dry weekend! Huh! When will these weather people realize that they cannot always tell what mother nature is going to do??? -

Oh my stars!!!! My birthplace made it to a tv show! If I'd been drinking anything, it would've spouted from my nose when it was mentioned on Supernatural!!! Too freakin' funny!! I would LOVE to know why they chose that particular town . . . -
Whoa!
It took awhile but the storms have really fired up! There've been tornadoes spotted and/or touching down all over the freakin' state!!! Yikes! It's still clear here ... for the moment ... so I thought I'd jump online and look for some recipes until I absolutely *have* to get off! I love spring, but boy, can it be scary in the south! -
Re-charging . . .
I can't believe it's Sunday again ... where does the time go?! Been taking it easy today ... recharging my batteries. Got Keith on aol radio ... slurpin' the last of my 'dew ... munching on cheese & crackers ... and trying to decide whether to get working on emails/letters or perhaps play with the cricut a bit.
