1. Name: Dawn.
2. Age: 19.
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
Where I live at the moment, which is England, UK. I wouldn't be able to live anywhere without my favourite British food - Saveloy and chips! However, I've always wanted to visit America and Canada but my fear of flying/heights/lack of money has stopped me.
4. What would your Room of Requirement look like?
It would be warm, with very comfortable chairs. There would be my favourite books and shows on the shelves - including book seven of course. An impressive fast broadband computer will obviously be there, as well as my darling cats, Harry and Pippa as they're the best company.
5. Who is your least favourite Harry Potter character?
Wormtail for obvious reasons. If Snape had the sort of friends Peter did, I doubt even he would betray them the way he did. His "I was scared!" excuse is bullshit. He should have died proudly rather than live as a dirty rat (no pun intended).
6. Is the glass half empty or half full?
Half Empty. I have no idea why.
7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality.
Honestly? "A long time ago, we used to be friends, but I haven't spoke to you lately at all." - Dandy Warhols. Out of all the offline friends I've ever had in my life, I only talk to one of them at this space in time. Moving from Junior to Secondary school lost me touch with several friends; the same happened from Secondary to College and now all my old collage friends have moved away to University while I opted to start work.
8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends?
Family - They will always be there, and not because they have to be, but because they want to. My family have watched me grow up, have helped me with every step I've taken and supported me. Friends leave. Friends can find other friends. I believe that blood is thicker than water.
9. What is your favourite childhood memory?
A time when boys were just friends, faces could be left dirty - the same goes with clothes. A time when things were easy and the only troubles I had were learning my times tables.
If you want a specific memory, I can remember riding ours bikes with my sister and our neighbours, John (who was a year older than me) and Ashley (who was a year younger than me). We were really good friends and just spent weekends riding our bikes around the road, playing with our toys and Super Mario game! I miss those days every single day.
10. What would you say is your biggest flaw?
Urm? I guess that I don't have much confidence in myself. I'm having a bit of a hard time at the moment and each day I feel like crying as my confidence is being chipped away bit by bit.
11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.?
Yep. Either that or never return to Umbridge's lessons again, after storming out in a fit in anger of course. I tend to over react in certain situations.
12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations.
Depends how difficult or stressful. I would breathe deeply and trying to clear my head before taking any action. But then there are those times - or moods when things feel like they are coming down on top of me, which I just curl up in my bed and cry. Crying is a good way to clear your head actually.
13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice?
A mix of the two. While you should fight for justice, there should be at least a bit of compassion in there. But only if people deserve it. If we're talking about Peter Pettigrew, there should be no compassion.
14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul?
I would say I'm a child at heart. The future is scary - growing up is scary. I went into a shop yesterday that was full of old toys and bits 'n bobs that reminded me of my childhood. I was sad, though fascinated, with wide child-like eyes.
15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in?
That's very difficult because I feel I have traits from all. I'm more inclined to say Hufflepuff. I'm loyal to the friends I have, while I prefer to stay in the shadows, getting along in life quietly and without fuss. I work hard, but was never top of my class. However, my temper could rival Harry's cap locks some days.
16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun!
