1. Name: Jessika. Although some people like to call me Captain K. Or Jennifer, considering that is my twin’s name and well, I answer to it.
2. Age: 19, 20 in January.
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
Ireland. I’m proud of my Irish heritage (you want a potato?) and I’ve always dreamed of living in a nation that was purely green. I love the country and nothing seems more appealing then living in a cottage on top of a cliff in a little village. I also have a thing for accents, but that is beside the point.
Sometimes I dream about running though the trees, dew kissed grass beneath my feet and the smell of the ocean in the air. I even told my Fiancé that I wanted to get married in Ireland, in the middle of a cluster of tress and a Priestess performing the rite. He was all for it, until I told him I wanted to do it naked. I thought it would be more truthful and bare that way. We compromised and decided to have an outside wedding here in the States, fully clothed.
4. What would your Room of Requirement look like?
Hmm. Well, it would be a big room with dark red walls and black drapes. There would be the most comfy couches, love seats and beanbag chairs and shelves upon shelves of books. A table would be in the middle of the room with a deck of cards and dice as well as a notebook and different colored pens. One side of the room would be devoted to music, all my favorite c.d.s and posters and a decent stereo.
Basically, it would be a room where I could be alone and have time just for myself, and also a place where my friends and I could hang out and enjoy ourselves before time passes and we’ve all grown too far apart.
5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character?
Well, it used to be Fleur Declour but after the 6th book she has redeemed herself in my eyes. I guess now it would have to be Crabbe and Goyle. I lump them as one person because that is how they are portrayed. They never stand up for their selves; they let Draco use the Polyjuice potion to turn them into girls, for Merlin’s sake! They are also total gluttons. I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave their right hand for pumpkin pasties.
6. Is the glass half empty or half full?
Depends. Right now my glass is empty, but if you give me a moment it will be full again.
I always think that if you don’t like how things are now you can either change it (like filling up a glass) or wait a little bit because everything changes all the time (like someone filling up the glass for you).
7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality.
“You could slit my throat and with my one last gasping breath I’d apologize for bleeding on your shirt.” -Taking Back Sunday
That quote basically sums up my feelings when I’m in love, whether that be platonic or romantic.
8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends?
That one is hard. My twin sister comes before everyone, she’s my best friend and I would put myself into debt for her countless times. But I’m adopted and I don’t much care for my biological mother, then again, I’ve been relating family to those who love me and I them. In my opinion, blood isn’t really a factor.
9. What is your favorite childhood memory?
When I was really young, my mother put me into the corner for some reason or another and while I was standing in the corner my twin sister slid a chair behind me so I could sit. Then she brought another chair over so she could sit with me, as well as carried all of our toys from our bedroom into the corner so we could play together.
10. What would you say is your biggest flaw?
I’m very impatient. I always want to know things now or have it now, I can’t stand waiting. For example, if I’m really into a certain show and I’m behind how many episodes they have out then sometimes I look up spoilers online. My fiancé usually gets angry but by that point I’m threatening to tell him what I just learned.
11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.?
Certainly. I think it would have been really interesting. I’m always up for a challenge and bit of danger, although it would be kind of hard to keep my mouth shut about it.
12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations.
I don’t. Usually if I am in a situation like that I’ll keep it all inside and keep my mind off of it. And if it is a situation where it is difficult and stressful for other people as well then I try to comfort them first and be the optimistic. After a while that gets a bit tiring, so I usually end up crying on my fiancé’s shoulder once he comes home from work.
13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice?
Hard! Well, I have to say compassion. I believe anyone with compassion is better off then just having justice. You can’t raise a family with only justice; you need compassion to love, to trust, and to help.
14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul?
I have been through a lot in my time, which made me grow up way too fast so my philosophy is that since I’ve never really got a childhood that I would act like a child now. I try to enjoy life to the fullest, I’m silly and often very weird and I enjoy that.
15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in?
Well, Hogwarts Elite sorted me as Hufflepuff and before then I never really thought I was one and after a few minutes of considering this I realized that yes, I am a Hufflepuff. And proud of it!
Go badgers! XD
16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun!
And if you want to see more pictures of me or want to be my friend (I encourage this) then friend me at
Myspace. I like friends. They make me happy.
