1. Name: Julian/Ling/Whatever-You-Want-To-Call-Me
2. Age: 17
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
Sweden, because there's someone I'd really like to meet there. Somewhere within the country I'm in now, I suppose. I'm used to the food, the culture, the weather... plus I don't really have a strong body, so here is good for me. (But if I ever get enough money to move somewhere else, then maybe Canada?)
4. What would your Room of Requirement look like?
LOTS OF CUSHIONS/PILLOWS. >_> I like comfort, so there'll most probably be rugs, soft things, etc. And many bookshelves, with books, of course. And music, candles. And no one else. Um, this seems a bit weird as a Room of Requirement, I think? >_>
5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character?
Er, I'm not too sure, but I think it'd be Cho Chang. Maybe it's because she tears up so often in the fifth book that it makes me sick. Or maybe it's because she seems so weak and stuff.
6. Is the glass half empty or half full?
Both. Sometimes, it's half empty, but when you think about it, it's also half full. Neither is wrong, but if forced to choose one side, I would say half full.
7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality.
In a place that's strange to me, the earth is black and there's not a tree
Well its so dark there's not a sound just the feeling of wanting to be found
I must make haste to be gone, in this place I do not belong
I thought I tried to move a foot, I just remained where I stood,
And in the distance I heard aloud the shrill of blank deathly sound
I tried, I tried, I tried to run, but every move I was where I begun,
It's too late, shadows over me blind my eyes I cannot see
All my strength all my love, someone help me please above
- Flying, UFO
8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends?
Friends. I know that my family loves me as well, but with them, I feel trapped. With my friends, I feel like I can take on the world and be who I want to be. They support me, and the ways they use to show me how they care makes me feel appreciated.
9. What is your favorite childhood memory?
When I was about six, I nearly drowned. It was a family vacation, and we went to the seaside. I can't really remember what happened, but I think I somehow walked into the water, and all I could see was endless blue. It was really beautiful. And then for no apparent reason, I jumped up. The sun was setting and I saw its orange glow spread through the sky and the surface of the ocean. Then gravity pulled me back down, and it was endless blue again. I don't know why, but my eyes didn't sting. I kept on jumping for a while, until my father pulled me out of the water.
10. What would you say is your biggest flaw?
I trust/care for people too much. In the end, they take advantage of me. But I don't get angry at them. In fact, I continue to be nice to them, to care for them, and to trust them even though I know that the same thing might happen again. I guess it's because I don't really have many proper friends.
11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.?
If a friend of mine suggested that we do it together, then yes, I would. I might be interested in it, but I wouldn't join it on my own. I suppose I need the assurance that there's someone there with me, and I wouldn't feel so alone.
12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations.
For the first few moments, I'd panic, but I'll usually calm down quickly and try and think of a solution. If everything's all jumbled in my mind, then I'd write everything down, then try to piece them together to form something less threatening, and then think of a way to get through it.
13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice?
Justice on its own is cruel, yet compassion by itself is not very favorable. One needs to be compassionate, yet righteous enough to make sure that a culprit does not get away without ay puishment. Still, I would treasure compassion above justice.
14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul?
I am a child at heart. I have yet to see what the world can offer, and have yet to experience the things in life that gives it meaning. I am still trapped behind a shield, one that needs to be broken so that I can go out and see the wonders and horrors of life with my own eyes.
15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in?
Most quizzes tell me that I should be in Ravenclaw. I am not really a bookworm, but teachers have told me that I am smart, brilliant, and am letting my talents go to waste. What they are, I do no know, because I don't have the chance to find out. Some quizzes say that I should be in Slytherin. I possess a decent amount of selfishess, because I am human after all. (Actually, I don't know which house I should be in. I'm just crapping. >_>)
