1. Name:
-- Mai

2. Age:
-- 24

3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
--- It's a toss between Canada and London. Canada is where most of my relatives are and for years I've been thinking of working there if given the chance. Their welfare system is pretty excellent too. And if I were to ask my idealist self, I'd say London because that place has fascinated me for ages. The British culture is very interesting in my opinion.

4. What would your Room of Requirement look like?
--- It should have the basics: DVD player, television, iPods (for me and my sister), a desktop PC and a laptop. My magazine and book collections should also be there, properly arranged in bookshelves for my mini-library. I don't want chairs in it too, just some beanbags plus a comfy couch. Lastly, the room would be painted in shades of light brown since I find earth tones more relaxing.

5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character?
--- Grawp. He's one character the books can do without. I always thought his storyline was just a waste of space for Book 5. Other characters can easily replace him in that 'forest with the centaurs' scene towards the end of OotP.

6. Is the glass half empty or half full?
--- Questions like this always confuse me. But I'd like to say the glass is half-full because it is what seems more logical. Including the 'half-empty' part would only launch never-ending philosophical discussions.

7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality.
--- "I'll be there for you, like I've been there before" = I've always liked the themesong of Friends because of it. You can always count on me though thick and thin, that's how much I value friendship

8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends?
--- Family. Their constant presence in my life is what keeps me grounded. It also helps that I consider my sister as my bestfriend because we're each other's partner-in-crime.

9. What is your favorite childhood memory?
--- Me and my sister dressing up in identical outfits, actually only the same cloth but tailored into different styles. We used to sport the same haircut as well. Back then we would be mistaken for twins since she wasn't so tall yet.

10. What would you say is your biggest flaw?
--- Can you say cramming is my name? I always put off doing things until the last minute. I guess I've always believed that I work well under pressure, which still works for me until now.

11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.?
--- Certainly! Aside from being a staunch supporter of what is right, the D.A. seemed like a good venue to gain some new friends considering it was a mix of students from all the four houses. I would've probably joined out of curiosity though.

12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations.
--- I bitch about it a lot before I can face the problem head-on. Talking helps me relieve the stress off my shoulders. After that, I can relax and face the situation calmly.

13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice?
--- Justice. You only reap what you sow, that's the law of nature.

14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul?
--- A combination of both. I've never been baby-talked to as a kid and I grew up feeling comfortable in the company of adults. But there's a part of me that wants to stay free of problems and just enjoy each day as it comes.

15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in?
--- I'd be sorted to Gryffindor seeing as how I tend to have this certain disregard for rules most of the time.

16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun!
