1. Name: A.Lynn

2. Age: 15

3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? I’d live in England. The whole culture and society seems so much more interesting and than over here in the states, the whole attitude over there is more fitting for me. That is where I would love to go but anywhere other than where I am now would be fine, where I live is so boring and I can’t stand to be bored with life. I need to take in culture and everything society has to offer. I also love New York and wouldn’t mind living there.

4. What would your Room of Requirement look like? I would be very dimly lit with only a fireplace and perhaps a small lamp. I would love a fireplace because I’ve always had a fascination with fire and love to watch it. There would also be large amounts of books, the walls would be lined with them. There would be a plush chair facing the fire where I could just escape and read while relaxing in solitude.

5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character? Harry Potter. He’s just so annoying. He’s also a very boring predictable character. He is the stereotypical hero character. He also seems to crave pity from other people because he’s “The Boy Who Lived”. I think it’s bad that J.K. wrote her less important characters to be more interesting that her main character. In the end, though, you can’t hate him too much because without him there would be no series.

6. Is the glass half empty or half full? Definitely half empty. I’m the biggest pessimist you could ever meet. I always have a negative spin on things and always think of the worst case scenario. I like to think of it as being a realist rather than pessimist.

7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality. There is a luxury in self-reproach. When we blame ourselves, we feel that no one else has a right to blame us. It is the confession, not the priest, that gives us absolution.
Oscar Wilde, The picture of Dorian Gray

8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends? Family. I have very few people in this world that I care for and trust. My mum is at the very top of that list because she has always been there for me. I haven’t had any friends that have been with me through everything and have stayed by me and cared for me for a long time. Friends aren’t constant but your family is. Even when I had no friends and everyone made fun of me I could come home to my mum and she’d still like me.

9. What is your favorite childhood memory? I don’t have many because I had a pretty crappy childhood. I moved a lot and never had friends. I guess it would be the time when someone was babysitting me and we got the bright idea to kill all the ants in the kitchen with pledge. You couldn’t walk on the floor in socks for a long time because you would end up on the floor.

10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? My quiet nature. I’m very shy and can’t talk to other people. I have terrible social skills and just can’t handle people.

11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.? I don’t think so. Partly because I don’t believe I would be friends with anyone in it. It would also be too risky of a group. I can do the same thing on my own so why should I get caught with a bunch of other people and possibly get in trouble.

12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations. I’m not very good with stress. I totally freak out after a while. For I long time I’m very quiet and just take it and do my best but once I’m alone I have a nice little nervous breakdown.

13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice? Justice. If someone deserves something they should get it, you shouldn’t care if they’re “a nice person” or “come from a bad place”. If they did something they should be punished. For things to be right you have to cold and unfeeling.

14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul? I absolutely have an old soul. I grew up fast and have more maturity than I should have at my age. I does have its downfalls because I can’t deal with or have relationships with people my own age because their childishness annoys the heck out of me.

15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in? I know for a fact that I would be in Slytherin. I’m no evil super lord like Voldemort, but that’s not what Slytherin is. I have the ambition to get what I want when I set my mind to it, and the cunning to get it with. I also feel that I have the intelligence that you need to be in Slytherin. Ravenclaws aren’t the only ones who value intelligence, to be in Slytherin you have to be not only ambitious but smart enough to follow through. I also have a habit of living and caring only for myself and the ones in my closest circle. I’ve also always been sorted Slytherin and am Head of Slytherin house at hat_sorting.
