Tell me who I am

Nov 29, 2005 20:59

1. Name: Kelsea

2. Age: Fourteen

3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?

This is a hard question for me. There are so many places I’d love to live. If money or a job weren’t an issue, since it does say anywhere, I’d pick either Switzerland, Scotland or Germany.

4. What would your Room of Requirement look like?

It would probably be very cozy with dark colours. And there would be bookcases full of books and CD’s. There would be a computer (because I wouldn’t know what to do without one…) and lots of Jones Soda (preferably Fufu berry). Also, a vanity with make up and jewelry and a closet full of clothes because I love messing around with make up and clothes, finding out what looks good and just being crazy with making costumes. (This sort of sounds like my bedroom…)

5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character?

Hermione. In the first couple of books (one through three) she was okay. Now in the sixth one I really dislike her. For someone as smart as her she sure lacks in common sense. How she got even with Ron for dating Lavender was stupid. She acts high and mighty and then gets very petty. As a book character I also she her very unrealistic, this is possibly because JK Rowling based Hermione on herself but added more ‘positive’ qualities. Either way, I just really don’t like her. Hermione, I mean. Not JK Rowling.

6. Is the glass half empty or half full?

I really don’t get that. I mean I know what it’s supposed to mean but I don’t know how to answer it. By thinking the glass is half empty doesn’t mean you’re pessimistic. It’s just a glass. But if we’re going with that meaning I’ll go with half full. I sound like a pessimistic person but I’m actually very optimistic. I just sound very depressing. I like to look at things with a happy outcome but I think about it realistically. Except that one time when I was almost positive that we (my family) were going to win the lottery… that was just odd.

7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality.

Think much, speak little and write less- Italian Proverb

I just found it today but that does describe me.

Or this one:

‘So this is how it feels to be insane

The world looks like a movie always playing

But how can hearts so young feel so much pain?’ - Kill Hannah (They Can’t Save Us Now)

It doesn’t exactly describe me but it just…fits.

8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends?

I honestly don’t know how to answer this. Part of me says friends and part says family. Maybe because I’ve never actually had a true real life friend I tend to lean towards saying family because they’ve never done anything to hurt me when I’ve had so many ‘friends’ come and go and betraying me in the process. So as of right now, I say family.

9. What is your favorite childhood memory?

When I was about four years old and my parents came up with the great idea to put me in Pre School. I don’t remember it that well but it lasted about a week. Each day I’d try to bribe the teacher into letting me call my parents and get out of there. And each day at home I would do try to get my parents to not take me. The last day I remember being glad that it was over and being confused as to why the class next door got have scissors and cut up paper… And if anyone is wondering, the reason it’s my favourite memory is because I found the whole thing funny. And it goes to prove that my parents should just trust me when I tell them I won’t like something.

10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? My shyness and my problem with accepting people. I get annoyed with people way too easily and I judge people a lot. My shyness plays a big part into that because since I don’t talk to a lot of people I just judge them… Sometimes I’ll try really hard to become someone’s friend and when they have a problem I’ll try to fix it, or help them fix it. Like once in sixth grade this girl forgot to do her homework and she didn’t even ask me but I quickly did it for her.

11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.?

Yes. I don’t know whether my intentions would be to use what I learned for the ‘light side’ or just to learn something, though.

12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations.

I write or tear stuff up, that’s only if I’m really angry. Usually I just sit and try to be as calm as possible then figure out how to make whatever it is less stressful.

13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice?

Justice.Compassion is nice, but I value someone that has the strength do carry out justice than just being compassionate. To me anyone can be compassionate but it’s a lot harder to fight for justice.

14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul?

Old soul. I like doing some childish things but I really don’t like chaotic things. My idea of having fun is sitting down and relaxing and talking. A lot of people find that boring but I can’t stand being with a group of people who are acting insane and never being able to speak because no one is paying attention.

15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in?

Ravenclaw? I love learning and feeling like I’m pretty intelligent but I don’t know if I’m right for Ravenclaw. I’d probably end up in that house at Hogwarts, most likely because I’d be repeating in my head over and over again that I really want to be in Ravenclaw because I need the self assurance that I’m actually smart. But then again the Sorting Hat could ignore me and place me in Hufflepuff, which wouldn’t be that bad since I am very loyal.

16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun!

Sorry, no picture of me. But um, here's a picture of my dog, Pinky. We'll pretend it's me!
