1. Name: Camille
2. Age: 17
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
Hmmm. Tough question, but it'd have to be England. It's my dream to go to England someday. I don't know why I love the place so much, but it's probably because of the whole obsession with Harry Potter and almost all of my favourite authors are from England. :D Also, I would love to live there because of all the wonderful historical sites found in England. If ever I get the chance to visit, I would go to every place possible, given of course that I have enough money to do that. :D
4. What would your Room of Requirement look like?
My Room of Requirement would look like my dream bedroom, with a BIG, comfortable bed and really fluffy pillows, huge bookshelves with all the books imaginable organized and catalogued properly, all the CD's I've ever wanted in my entire life properly arranged and stacked, all the DVD's I've been wanting to purchase all this time, and all the nifty gadgets I could get my hands on. I'd also have broadband Internet and a lifesize sculpture of Christian Bale. Oh, and fanon!Draco would be alive and not fictional. :D Nearly forgotten that there should be food.
5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character?
It's a tie between Umbridge and Fudge, because (1) Umbridge is just a really appalling and horrible sadist; and (2) Fudge is a stupid prat for insisting that he is right and that Harry and Dumbledore have gone bonkers. I could just remember distinctly the many times I wanted to hurt someone badly while reading OotP.
6. Is the glass half empty or half full?
Quite frankly, I find that the glass is half empty. I'm just really a pessimistic person, because I don't want to expect much and get disappointed in the end.
7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality.
Those who can laugh without cause have either found the true meaning of happiness or have gone stark raving mad. - Norm Papernick
Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious. - Brendan Gill
Because I believe that we shouldn't take everything in life so seriously that we become so obsessed with it being so perfect and that we forget what really matters. It's just like what my dad said before. He said what's the point of saving ALL your money and becoming so frugal when in the end, you die. It'll be a complete waste. You could've just spent it on things that made your loved ones happy, and in turn, you'd be happy by just seeing them happy.
8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends?
It would depend on the depth of my friendship with a certain person. If we were really close, almost to the point of considering him or her as family, then that friend would be on the same level as my family. However, if we were just acquaintances, family comes first.
9. What is your favorite childhood memory?
My favourite childhood memory would be my 6th birthday, because I was so awed by waking up and finding everyone in family up already, playing Happy Birthday on the cassette player, singing happily and serving me breakfast. It was one of those surprises I thought no one would ever do to me. :D
10. What would you say is your biggest flaw?
Being too "cold" and detached from other people half of the time. My classmate before actually told me this, because whenever she hugged me as a sign of affection, I would just be blank and feel awkward, with my arms just hanging limply at my sides. It's probably a defense mechanism or something.
11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.?
Yes, definitely, though I think I would hesitate at first, given that it's something radical and unconventional, and I'm not really one for breaking the rules. In the end, though, I think I would join, because some things are more important than books and grades and exams.
12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations.
My mind would go on overdrive, but I wouldn't panic as much and lose hope of ever getting out of a difficult situation. My mind would sort of be calm and start thinking of all the possible solutions I could do. I wouldn't cry, curl myself into a ball in a corner, and let the stress get to me.
13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice?
I believe in striking a balance between both, because one can't be entirely compassionate and be too soft that some people may abuse you, but one can't be too just either and become an iron-fisted robot who follows the rules blindly just for the sake of 'justice' and in the process, steps on other people's rights.
14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul?
I'm a child at heart and have been constantly told by my parents to grow up. My younger sister believes that I am immature compared to her, who looks like a 23-year-old but in fact is only 15. And fact: I still enjoy watching Power Rangers, and playing Nintendo (even if I have to seriously whack on it to make it work). Oh, and there was a time when my dad told me to grow up because I wanted to go to this fantasy/sci-fi convention here.
15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in?
Ravenclaw. I'm sure of it. It has been my typecast that because I get good grades that I'm smart and that's all there is to me, which I believe is quite wrong, because I am diverse as a pack of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. You just have to keep on eating to taste all the flavors. :D
16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun!
I'm the one with the glasses and braces. (Nerd! Hah.) This is me on a regular day.
I'm the one on the right. This is me on glammed-up-day. Haha. The difference make-up makes. :D
Sorry if the pictures are crappy. Couldn't find anything decent in my computer. :)
