1. Name: Kristina
2. Age: 18
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? I would choose Sydney, Australia. There's lots and lots of water there (I love to swim), there's lots of cultural things to experience (like the Sydney Opera House), and there's lots of different sports to try. Plus, it's an urban area, and I love going to college in an urban area, so I would love Sydney!!
4. What would your Room of Requirement look like? My Room of Requirement would have lots and lots of random things in it. To start out, it would be fairly large so it could hold all the stuff in it. It would have a big fluffy bed (I have to sleep on the teeny twin bed that the dorms provided, and I can't really deal with it that well), it would have a pretty ceiling fan so I could have air circulating in the room all the time... the room would also have the perfect temperature for me (my roommates and I can't agree on the perfect temperature in our room). The room would also have a washer and dryer (I don't like going downstairs to do my laundry, and I especially don't like paying for it), and it would also have a piano with a book on how to play the piano (I've always wanted to learn). It would also be very clean all the time (I hate cleaning my room). lol
5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character? My least favorite Harry Potter character would be Bellatrix Lestrange. I would almost venture to say that she's even more evil than Lord Voldemort. She's the epitome of evil. She is rude, and she has no care in the world of those around her. I think she would as soon kill Voldemort than to die herself. I especially hated that she killed Sirius and laughed about it. That really pushed me over the edge.
6. Is the glass half empty or half full? Half full, definately. I'm happy 99% of the time. If someone upsets me, I try to resolve it right away... I hate having people upset at me, and I hate being upset at others.
7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality. No day but today! This is a quote from RENT. I saw the movie last night, and I absolutely loved it. It changed how I look at things. This quote in the movie was said/sung because one of the characters was depressed over a death, and how he wouldn't live life because of his grief. His friends wanted him to live life to the fullest. That's like me. I try to live life to the fullest, and I try to make everyday the best day of my life.
8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends? Ugh, I can't choose. I'll say family, because I really and truly consider my friends family. I'm in the band at college, and I consider the whole band my family. We always hang out together, and we're always together when we have to do concerts, performances, and stuff.
9. What is your favorite childhood memory? Definately learning how to play the clarinet when I was 11. If I hadn't learned how to play the clarinet, then I don't know where I'd be now. Music is my life, and if not for music, I don't know what I'd do!!
10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? I really wish I could be more outgoing!! If you met me now, I'd probably appear shy to you. I just can't be outgoing around new people. It doesn't work for me because it's completely out of my element.
11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.? I would have joined it without a doubt!! I would not have cared what Umbridge or anyone would have thought about it. I would have tried my best at everything, and I would have been present at every meeting. I love Defense Against the Dark Arts, and any extra practice I would be able to have would have been totally AWESOME!!
12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations. The kinds of difficult and stressful situations I'm facing right now are college things. I'm filling out this app so I can avoid doing my English and Pre-Calculus stuff. So, I pretty much procrastinate and try to avoid said situation for as long as humanly possible. lol
13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice? Justice!! I have always been intersested in American history and the American judicial system. I love to read up on old Supreme Court cases and see how they shape our way of living today. If I was a worker in the Ministry in Harry's third year, I definately would have bought Wormtail to justice, no matter what my colleagues might have thought or said.
14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul? I'm a child at heart. My roommates always tell me that I act younger than I am, and I sometimes think they mean it in a derrogative way. I don't really care the context of the remark... I take it as a compliment. I have lots and lots of little gadgets in my dorm room... like video games and other little things that I don't really need. I can't hold on to my money like I should be able to. lol
15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in? This is a toughie. I've had people tell me that I'm very much a Gryffinpuff. I'm a Gryffindor because I'm brave and I would do anything for my family and friends. I'm a Hufflepuff because I'm loyal and hardworking.
16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun!
