1. Name: Allison
2. Age: 19
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
Oh, man, what a question. A simple question, but one that's tough for me! Mostly I just really want to travel everywhere! But as for a base of operations, I'd like to live in a big city somewhere. The energy and vibe are something I really enjoy - I like knowing that people are up and out and doing things all the time. Maybe London or New York - though I really love places like San Francisco and Dallas as well. :D
4. What would your Room of Requirement look like?
Oh, God. Probably like a ski lodge. I've spent a vacation pretty much every winter and spring since I was a teeny kid on a mountain, skiing and snowboarding. I love the mountains and I love the snow, and the rustic setting of a ski lodge has always really appealed to me.
5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character?
Snape. I don't care if he's actually not totally evil, but I just can't stand him. He's spiteful and bitter and basically just a huge drama queen.
6. Is the glass half empty or half full?
Depends on what's in it, right? Something I like - half empty, because I always want more. Something I hate... half full!
7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality.
"I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying." - Oscar Wilde. I always try to be clever and funny, but I'm not sure it always works.
8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends?
Family. Friends in my life have come and gone, but my family's always been there for me, in their own warped little way.
9. What is your favorite childhood memory?
Playing hide and go seek during the summer with all my neighborhood friends. We'd stay out until past midnight just playing for hours, even though we were probably too old to be playing hide and seek. It was great fun.
10. What would you say is your biggest flaw?
Pride, maybe. I value pride, because I think people should love themselves, but sometimes I don't ask for help when I need it or get defensive when people criticize me because I always want to take care of things by myself.
11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.?
Yup, definitely. I'm a sucker for causes, and I'd definitely be all over this one.
12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations.
I actually perform very well under pressure - at least, that's what people have always said. On my own for the ordinary things I sometimes tend to be lax, but for the big things I really just kick it into high gear and get it done. I sometimes even enjoy the adrenaline rush from all the stress as I'm going through things.
13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice?
Ooh, tough. Justice is an incredibly important thing, but sometimes I really think compassion trumps justice. In law situations, understanding why the crime was committed and taking that into consideration is just as important as punishing it.
14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul?
I'm a child at heart. I like to take things at face value and appreciate the beauty of things instead of being jaded about the whole world and moping around all the time. Life is for the living!
15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in?
Gryffindor. I'm bold, brash, and opinionated. I'm not afraid of being myself and I try to help people out whenever I can. I like pushing myself.
16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun!
SHABAMALAM!
