Oh well...

1. Name: Juliana

2. Age: 17

3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? Paris, I guess - the great cultural capital of the world for so many years. Or maybe London, also for its History. I love places filled with history but also very cosmopolitan, and both of these cities have this kind of thing. Besides, I'm so crazy about History that I'm going to get my degrees on it - and I love medieval history and wars. Both Paris and London would make me happy, because I would be closer to where everything happened.

4. What would your Room of Requirement look like? Like a big library, with all of the books I've always wanted to read. There are many, believe me. There would be also a lot of History, Anthropology and Politics books there. But there would have to be a really large sofa and good lighting. Not to mention some beverage and some snacks, so I wouldn't need to go out for nothing.

5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character? I first though about Grawp - but he's not my least favorite, he's just annoying. I really don't like Filch: he's arrogant in his own way, probably jealous of every single student of Hogwarts because of their magical skills; I don't think he even thinks that he could make himself really useful there without being such a pain.. I also hate the Dursley: basically because they are a bunch of ignorants who can't think outside the box; they are one lousy family, and I would hate them forever if I had to live with them for a year - imagine 10!

6. Is the glass half empty or half full? Half empty. Some people think that seeing the glass half empty doesn't go properly with my personality, but it's a logical think: if you expect for the worse, then you'll never be disappointed (at least not really). Being pessimist is not about jus not seeing the best - it's a way of protection, I guess.

7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality. I really feel compelled in giving three, just because I'm terrible at picking just one thing. There's one from Jorge Luis Borges that says "I've always imagined that heaven was a sort of bookshop". But my "half empty" side says "Nothing reveals more one's character than what make one's laugh" (or something like that), from Goethe.

8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends? Hard to say. I stand by the whole "friends are the family we choose" kind of thing. And there's also the fact that I consider my mother my best friend in the world. But if I had to pick, I'd say my friends - but I'm really good at multi-tasking!

9. What is your favorite childhood memory? The first lines I could actually read by myself. I was like 5 and comic books were my thing. I was at home and I didn't want to ask my mom to read it for me, so I put all of my strengths on it - and when I finished reading the story, I felt like a whole new horizon had burst in bloom right in front of me.

10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? Perfectionism. It's either worth doing perfectly or not worth doing at all. If I know I'm going to fail, I rather not even doing it. And as I'm a very impatient person, I usually give up on stupid things. And, along with perfectionism, comes high self-criticism and different tones of sarcasm.

11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry's fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.? Hell, yeah! The D.A. would be a perfect opportunity to meet others, to learn tons of things and to practice it all. Not to mention that learning is a joy by itself!

12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations. I usually work very well under stress. My best essays for school were always written very closely to the deadline. I guess I work better under stress than most people. I don't let my anxiety show and I hold on pretty well. I can be really nervous, but it doesn't come to the surface - and I control my feelings and go on. It's like my brain analyzes it all and only then I make a move.

13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice? Justice, if it's truly blind. When we let our feelings on the way of thinking something through or even judging someone, we can be misleaded. By "justice", I mean being able to see the facts and get things clear. Loving someone - or being compassionate - doesn't make their flaw or errors any smaller.

14. Would you say that you're a child at heart, or that you have an old soul? I have and old soul, no doubt about that. I think my skepticism come from that - knowing people make you wonder if there's good in some of them. But I don't let it get in the way of being happy and playful. But I'm usually the one giving pieces of advice or trying to make my friends see all the pieces of the puzzle (or trying to make them understand getting emotional does not always help).

15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in? Ravenclaw or Slytherin. My friends say I only say "Slytherin" to fight the inevitable "Ravenclaw" answer. But facts are facts, so let's get down to them: I do love learning and I do hate when people just can't see what's obvious. I can be really cunning when I want to, though, and I only satisfy myself with the best.

16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun!

That's pretty much me and my HBP book. That picture was take on the release day of the book, on a even that took place here in Rio (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). I'm wearing my Ravenclaw clothing :)
I don't have my glasses on that picture, though. They reflected the flash too much.
