1. Name: Karma
2. Age: 17
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? Somewhere busy, with lots of different places to hang out. So I guess a city, because right now I live in a very small town, and I’d probably be more likely to find someone who shares the same interests as I do somewhere else, and I wouldn’t be bored all the time. Or somewhere exotic, at least for a little while.
4. What would your Room of Requirement look like? It would be open with little furniture so I could walk around because I don’t like sitting all the time. In the center would be a fountain, because fountains are great, and it would have big windows. I love looking outside.
5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character? I guess Bellatrix Black. She doesn’t even bother my that much, she just seemed kind of crazy and annoying to me.
6. Is the glass half empty or half full? Half full, why not? It would be so boring to look at the glass half-empty all the time, sure I do sometimes, but it would be a sad life, and good things happen all the time.
7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality. I don’t know many quotes, but this works: “Never tell me the odds” --Han Solo. I think it fits because I really don’t care about what statistics say, and I’m usually confident when it comes to being able to do whatever I want to do, despite what everyone else says.
8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends? Family. My friends are awesome, but my family’s always been there for me, and I feel very lucky in that respect.
9. What is your favorite childhood memory? I guess playing outside until it was dark and daydreaming about adventures. They seemed twice as real then.
10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? I asked and I was told it’s that I’m scared I’m always bugging people, and I’m sure that does bug people. And it’s true, I’ll find myself asking someone that five times in a conversation, and often it’s just habit, but I guess I really do worry that I may be annoying, though not to the point of changing who I am.
11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.? Definitely. I would have been annoyed that year anyway, and there’s the thrill of breaking the rules that really shouldn’t be there, and doing it in secret with lots of others. It sounds fun.
12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations. I don’t get stressed much, but when I do I’ll sulk and become pretty irritable, or I’ll shut myself off emotionally and just sort of wade it out.
13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice? That’s such a hard question. I think justice is very important, I always have, I think we need both for a good world. It depends on the situation, justice is important for being fair toward everyone, but compassion is good for understanding people.
14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul? Definitely a child at heart. I’m naive and have been told so, I’m curious and whenever something catches my interest I have to learn everything about it. I’m impulsive and I often don’t think of the consequences. Also I’m always daydreaming, I believe anything’s possible, and I love playing in the rain and things like that. I even play with my brother’s toy planes.
15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in? I suppose Gryffindor. First off, I prefer it, and also I have a strong sense of honor and a love for adventure. I’m ambitious about some things, and can come off as aloof like Slytherin, but I’m not really an elitist and I’m not that ambitious. I can feel overlooked like Hufflepuff, but I think I would get bored quickly in their house. And I enjoy learning like Ravenclaw, but I don’t enjoy it that much, and I certainly don’t care about my grades. So, Gryffindor.
