1. Name: LewlinX I've used this for so long, and so many know me by it that it feels more like my real name than the name I was given at birth.
2. Age: 30
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? This tend to vary depending on my mood, but right now I would pick a beautiful country style home in either England, Italy or Spain, surrounded by green pastures and beautiful scenery, lots of animals too and if from the house I could get a view of the ocean as well, it would make it perfect.
4. What would your Room of Requirement look like? It would be full of all my favorites, music, books, movies, comfy chairs, pillows, warm fluffy blankets, fluffy sleepers, all kinds of drinks, fruit and cheese, the people I like best, in short, everything that would make the time we spend there perfect. It would be a place where I could go and have fun with my closest family/friends and create new fun memories, where everything even if only for a day or a few hours would go as I visualize it.
5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character? Dolores Umbridge. She is mean and enjoys being mean. Her actions result from her belief that she is protected against others by those who have or pretend to have more power. She is the sort of woman that will do everything and anything in her power to follow on the orders of those who are powerful or pretend to be, so she can share in their glory. She is nothing without power, she thinks her position and importance in life is based purely on what she can achieve by kissing up to others. Blinded by all of these she does not realize that her view of the word is incorrect and just tramples over everyone, until eventually she gets what is coming for her thanks to her lack of intelligence.
6. Is the glass half empty or half full? I try to see it half full most of the time but I have the ability of going from totally pessimistic to totally confident in a heart beat. Today I would say half full thought.
7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality.
When the world gets in my face I say, have a nice day - Bon Jovi
When the going gets tough, the tough gets going
8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends? Family should always come first no matter how weird or crazy they are. Even if life has chosen a family full of what you think are insufferable characters, they will always be there for you. Obviously, family is not always the one you are born into, maybe it is one that has "adopted" you, then your friends are not only friends, they are family. As far as friends being friends, well, they might swear to be there for you at all times, but when push comes to shove only your family is there to back you up, be it the family you were born into, or your "adopted" family.
9. What is your favorite childhood memory? When I was growing up I lived in a neighborhood were almost every kid there was my age. We were all growing up at the same time, we were a huge gang of rowdy kids wrecking havoc in the neighborhood. There were enough kids that we could play sports divided into two mixed teams, or act, or even just get our bikes and go somewhere together. We ruled our neighborhood thats for sure.
10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? I have a fiery temper that is difficult to control. Learning to keep it under control is an ongoing battle in itself. This of course, leads to a lot of crazy outburst that I later feel sorry about because they tend to hurt people that did not deserve it. Although, when the person deserves it, I am glad for my temper and not being afraid to use it. I am also very stubborn. This mixed with a fiery temper, bad idea.
11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.? Yes. The idea of defying authority in the way the DA did is admirable, rules can be bent sometimes, as was the case with the DA, also learning new defensive spells that could ultimately save me and/or my loved ones would also be a good reason to get involved.
12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations. At first I tend to get a bit panicky, but I usually try to stay calm and maintain control of the situation. I've found that I work well under pressure and when things are difficult. Handling something difficult in a good way and achieving the outcome I wanted out of a situation makes me feel good about they way I handled whatever problem was thrown my way. I trust myself to always work well, no matter what the circumstances.
13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice? There is always time for both depending on the situation. Compassion is always necessary, you cannot go through life without compassion, even the person you hate the most deserves some compassion at some point. Justice is as well necessary in our daily lives. We need to be able to take all viewpoints into account and base our decisions upon it. Maybe it does not usually work that way but it is a good thing to try to do.
14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul? I am a child at heart. The smallest things make me happy or make me laugh, and most of the time, the things that are important to me are those that show they were done with me in mind, because the person who did them thought it would be something I would appreciate.
15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in? I think I would end up in Ravenclaw. But I could probably convince it to place me in Gryffindor. I dont consider myself totally brave, but I think I would fit in well in either of those two houses.
16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun! I´m choosing one of my favorites rather than one I feel comfortable with...here it is
