1. Name: Rhiannon

2. Age: 22

3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? I haven't seen much of the world yet; I have an enormous list of places I'd like to visit, and I don't think I'd be able to answer that question properly until I've been to places like New Zealand and Ireland that I'm dying to see. But if I were to choose, tonight, where to live the rest of my life? I'd say Peach Lake in New York. It's only an hour's drive from New York City or Danbury in Connecticut, so it's near enough to the cities to be convenient, but it's a very rural area and the community is small and tightly-knit. My mother grew up there and her parents lived there for forty years, so I have family history there too. It's an absolutely gorgeous area with big old houses, plus lots of trees and most importantly WATER! I could never live anywhere that wasn't near water.

4. What would your Room of Requirement look like? It would have BOOKS. Hundreds of them. Everywhere. Walls full of shelves full of books, about absolutely everything imaginable, fiction and nonfiction alike. I read way too fast and I always need something new for my brain to chew on. Otherwise I start thinking about things people don't want me thinking about - politics, religion, how best to annoy anyone nearby....... ahem. Anyway. There would also be lots of ridiculously comfortable large armchairs with numerous pillows, and possibly some beanbag lounges as well. Probably candles, as I love to read by candlelight. And at least one window that opens, for a nice breeze in the summer.

5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character? Marietta Edgecombe! I loathe people who cannot keep their word. Granted she thought she was doing the right thing, but even that's part of what irks me about her - she only thought it was the right thing. Even Dolores Umbridge, as much as she repulses me, could say she Truly Believed she was doing what was best; she's off her rocker, yeah, but she believed. Marietta was like a trained poodle, just looking for a smile and a pat on the head. (Actually, I take that back. That's an insult to trained poodles.) She sold the D.A. out after swearing silence, and frankly I cheered when Hermione's little "SNEAK" trick came to light.

6. Is the glass half empty or half full? Who cares, where's Rosmerta? I want a refill!

7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality. "Morality, like art, means drawing a line someplace." --Oscar Wilde ~ First and foremost, I'm a total Oscar fangirl. I love a man who questions the status quo and then turns around and mocks every answer he gets. Then there's the fact that I'm an artist, and line art drawings are my particular favorite medium. Plus morality is something important to me - it might surprise those who know me to hear that, as I don't have very many lines I'm specific about, but the ones I do have are non-negotiable. You cross 'em and you better be prepared for retribution.

8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends? Family, but that's a tricky question as I consider my best friends to be family. My family is ENORMOUSLY important to me. My parents divorced when I was six but they remained friends and were always very dedicated to making sure my brother and I felt loved. My dad remarried a woman who had four girls and they had two more boys, so I was constantly surrounded by siblings, there was always someone to play with. Plus my grandmother is obsessed with genealogy, so we can trace our family line back to the Norman knights of old Britain. There's a special sense of family that comes with that. But the friends I'm closest to - my oldest friend I've known since we were six weeks old - are every bit as much my family as my blood relatives.

9. What is your favorite childhood memory? My first cloak. My grandmother helped me make it and I think my mother was slightly mortified when I said I wanted to wear it to school, but she didn't argue; I was so proud of that silly thing, I wore it to class every day and sat wrapped up in it at recess reading a book in the corner of the playground. It's been worn to pieces now, but I still run about in it sometimes.

10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? That I'm frequently completely out of touch with reality. Not just with the latest cliques and trends, I mean sometimes I don't see or hear things (or even people) that are right in front of my face. I've always got my head off in some cloud, which is generally nice but can at times be a serious detriment to school, work, and relationships.

11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.? Hell yes. Might've been against the rules but it didn't take a fool to see it was the right thing to do, and at the end of the day I'd like to think I'd choose what is right over what is easy.

12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations. It depends. If it's a scholastic setting, like a speech in front of the class or a test, I panic - hyperventillating, cold sweats, sometimes even tears. But oddly enough in the real world I'm able to cope a bit better. I'm not sure what it is. I can just shut down and deal with whatever's in front of me. Late for a job interview? No sweat, I'll just call and tell 'em I'm running late. Car died on the freeway? Cool, let's pull over and see what the trouble is. Man with a knife just jumped out of an alleyway at me? Hey, that's what I took martial arts classes for.

13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice? Both are important to me, but as much as I would like to say compassion, I don't think society would function if we "just tried to be nice to each other." Justice is important, sometimes more important than peoples' feelings.

14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul? Both, really. I often feel like I'm centuries older than anyone around me - not just more knowledgeable, but much more mature - but at the same time I'm pretty innocent compared to others my age. I still play dress-up and jump in puddles when it rains and write fairy stories in my head when I should be paying attention to something else.

15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in? Ravenclaw. Hands down. I could see a bit of Gryffindor, maybe, in my tendency to try to save the day where my friends are concerned - but mostly I sit down and consider everything from every angle before I get involved. I definitely don't work hard enough to belong in Hufflepuff and I've no ambition to speak of unless you count a desire to know everything about everything, so Slytherin would be out too.

16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun! The only picture I've got of myself is this'n. It's rather old - my hair's considerably shorter now and I've got a nose piercing - but you get the idea.
