1. Name: Courtney
2. Age: 22; 23 in March (gah! I feel so old)
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose? I'm not sure. I haven't decided where I plan to stick around after I get my life in order. I'd love to see Australia, Greece, and revisit Italy. Perhaps I'll settle in England, my grandmother is from there.
4. What would your Room of Requirement look like? A readers paradise! Comfy pillows to lounge around on, on the floor... Shelves and shelves of books everywhere... *sigh* Actually, this sounds lovely.
5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character? Ludo Bagman. He just...annoys me. There's something about his personality that, were he a real person, would make me want to smack him.
6. Is the glass half empty or half full? I always take this question as literal, with a little smirk on the side, being my usual sarcastic self... But if I actually think about it, I think perhaps it's half empty. I expect the worst out of people and situations more often than the best.
7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality. "Without music, life would be a mistake." Damn straight, it would.
8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends? Family. But I count some of my closest friends as family, anyway. I try to keep everything I love at the top of my priority list.
9. What is your favorite childhood memory? Not my favorite, per se, but something that sticks out in my mind at the moment: the first time my dad, younger brother, and I "camped out" in our tent in the backyard, I was maybe 6 years old. It had started to rain, and between the thunder, lightning, and darkness, I got scared and went inside. I later laughed at my brother and dad for coming in sopping wet the next morning. *giggle*
10. What would you say is your biggest flaw? Being so negative. My friends used to comment on it constantly, and usually I'd just tell them to stuff it. I don't realize I'm being negative unless someone points it out, so it's a bit difficult to fix the problem, eh?
11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.? Hell yeah, I would have. No one is going to say I can't do something, and damnit, if I want to learn how to protect myself properly with an impending war on the horizon, I'm damn well going to do so, against the rules or not.
12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations. I take it all in stride and I don't let stress get to me. I'm usually the level-headed one of my friends, even if I can't seem to think of any plans to help the situation.
13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice? Compassion. It's a very human emotion, and one which you can focus to help others. Compassion is needed; justice comes later.
14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul? I am such a big kid, it's amusing. I will always love a good cartoon, cuddle up with my bear to watch a scary movie alone, be able to play with my 8 year old brother like and 8 year old myself... Who says you need to grow up? As long as you know when you need to kick in that maturity, why not have a little fun?
15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in? I used to think I'd be a total Gryffindor. I'm not exactly sure why, really. But recently, some of my actions have just made me think Slytherin. I can be an evil bitch sometimes. *smirk*
16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun!
