1. Name: Victoria, but my friends call me Vicki

2. Age: 16

3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
When I think about where I'd like to live when I'm older, I always imagine a big, old house set in a fair bit of land with a stream nearby, where my children could make up games and play in all day. I think I'd quite like to live somewhere in America (I'm from England), somewhere that is natural with lots of trees and beautiful scenery around, but not too far from the hustle and bustle of a city or large town. I'd like somewhere where you can sit all day in the sun, but then when winter comes you can play all day in the snow. Somewhere beautiful.

4. What would your Room of Requirement look like?
Somewhere calm and peaceful, somewhere outside. With running water and shady trees that I could sit under to draw, or write, or just relax with my own thoughts.

5. Who is your least favorite Harry Potter character?
I dislike Petter Pettigrew a lot. The way he betrayed those people who were the closest to him, and that he is such a weak person. He had to tag along with the other three marauders to give himself some sort of personality, but then betrayed those friends as he was too weak to stand up against Voldemort. I find him very pathetic.

6. Is the glass half empty or half full?
Half full. I am quite the optimist and always try to look on the bright side of life, and to find the good in bad things. However, I find I'm often better at finding the good for other people than for myself. But on the whole, I'm not generally a very negative person, I feel life's too short for that.

7. Give us a quotation (Can be from a famous person, a song, or even a poem-whatever you want) you feel represents your life or personality.

A quote from my current favourite song, rather aptly named 'Mrs Potter's Lullaby' by Counting Crows.
"If you've never stared off into the distance then your life is a shame."
I'm such a daydreamer, and as I wait for my train to and from college you'll always find me standing there, staring off into the distance daydreaming about how things could be.

8. In your life, who comes first: family or friends?
Family. I'm very close to my immediate family, my Mum, Dad and younger brother. Compared to most friends I have a very good relationship with my brother, and although we do argue I would do anything for him. I make friends fairly easily, but not close friends. I have one close friend, but have only grown close to her in the past year. I have a fair few casual friends, but I tend to socialise with only a few people. Three out of four of my grandparents died when I was much younger, so I never really got to know them very well, so because of that I appreciate family a lot.

9. What is your favorite childhood memory?
I think probably just playing in our garden in the summer, with my brother, when everything was very simple, and I didn't know about all the bad things that happen in our world.

10. What would you say is your biggest flaw?
I think I find faults in other people very easily, and also myself. Some people I know find me rather stuck-up when they first meet me, and I think perhaps this is related. I find faults in people so think they're not worth getting to know, so can be rather cold and seem stuck-up. But once I do get to know people, I'm not like this at all.

11. If you had been at Hogwarts during Harry’s fifth year, do you think that you would have joined the D.A.?
I love the idea of joining the D.A. so yes, I think I would have. I don't do enough to stand up for what I believe in, but I think if I was given this chance to I would take it as I do often get involved in things.

12. Describe how you react to difficult or stressful situations.
If I've lost something important, I have a huge panic inside and get very hot, but try not to show this so end up feeling very tense. If it's a stressful situation such as an exam, I don't panic, this sort of thing doesn't really worry me. I think it's because I don't really dwell on it beforehand, and so suddenly it's there and it's really not that bad. With most things, I tell myself it doesn't matter, as I know if things don't work out then it's not the end of the world, there's always way around things.

13. Which do you value more: compassion or justice?
Although compassion is important, there are so many unjust things that occur in the world, that can destroy people's lives. Too much compassion can stop justice I think, so I suppose I value justice more.

14. Would you say that you’re a child at heart, or that you have an old soul?
I would say I'm a child at heart, but that I have an old-fashioned soul, if that makes sense. I like tradition, and the way things used to be when there were certain unspoken social rules. But I am definitely a child at heart. I like bright colours, I like to bounce around, and I love fairytales and fantastical stories.

15. Which Hogwarts House do you think that the Sorting Hat would place you in?
I think Ravenclaw. I'm quite intelligent, and although I am doing an art based course at college I was always rather academic at school. I would like to be in Gryffindor as I think that house has the best sort of people, but then my bad side would secretly love to be in Slytherin.

16. If you have a picture of yourself and feel comfortable posting it, please do so! Pictures are fun!
