I'm so sorry, Stan. It's so hard with exotics- one of my chinchillas died just a couple of months after I adopted them, because they had been on a diet that included alfalfa too, and that caused him to have severe kidney problems and die within a few hours. The scarcity of experts on exotics and the conflicting information out there makes it hard to care for them, no matter how hard you try. It sounds like he had a pretty sweet life though. He was a cute iguana :)
