Anybody have good vacation ideas for the west side of the state? Or the north or U.P.?

- Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes
- Copper mine things in the top of the UP
- Taquamemon Falls

(I hope to hit Sleeping Bear next weekend, if possible.)

add to that the copper country national forest and drummond island

That reminds me... The drive along Lake Superior through Hiawatha National Forest is really nice, too. Just long, winding roads and countless places to stop. Also, because it's a remote national forest, when one comes across things like... say... a fish hatchery, you can just stop and take a look.
