i saw MORRISSEY last night. it was incredible!!! we (me, chuck & bri) stood outside in the cold for a few hours beforehand, but it was well worth it. we ended up in the front row...being in front also afforded me the opportunity to touch MORRISSEY. now i can check that off my list of things to do in life...all in all, it was a great show... This weekend my brother came into town to hang out. It was good...he brought some old footage of David Bowie at TOTP and the Old Gray Whistle Test...It brought back memories of being kids and pulling out mom's Bowie albums. Have you ever gotten wrapped up in a song where you just listen to it over and over and over and over and hear something new in it each time you play it? PULP's "Bob Lind" is where I'm at right now. I love it.

If anyone is interested the week-long camp for ventilator dependent children is in need of some kitchen staff. You would basically be cooking and cleaning up after 3 meals/day for the week of camp. Yesterday my huge ebay lot of vintage beaded christmas ornament kits arrived. I'm pretty excited. These are the old kits from the 70's...my grandma and great aunt used to make these all year round. So tonight is the 80's dance party thing at TC's in Ypsi. It starts around 10:30 & you get in free if you "dress 80's". I don't know much more beyond that...don't know who the dj is...the suck potential may be high, but at least I'll get to dress up like ADAM ANT again!

I don't think I can pass up an opportunity to wear my Adam Ant outfit again....I heard that TC's in Ypsi is doing an 80's dance party called "Rock the Casbah" on Friday, March 19. No cover for anyone who dresses 80's style. What I'm wondering is who's doing the music for this...does anybody know?
