Howdy, folks. Long time no see, I know. Not much happening at the moment...just getting on with life as we know it.

Since itzwicks is going to be taking a breather from LJ for a while, I thought I would lend a hand with a Question of my own...just to see if I can do it. :O)

I remember that I was in Portland Oregon downtown with my dad when JFK was shot. I was young and he held me in his arms as he watched a television report in a store where a good 30 people also stood watching in horror.

About the closest thing to that kind of moment that I can come was when President Reagan was shot. I was in my elementary school cafeteria having lunch when the principal broke in with the news.

Heh. I was still a gleam in my dad's eye in 1957. I missed the JFK shootfest by nearly two weeks, having been born on December 9, 1963.
