have to say that alien ruined horror movies for me. they all suck it the balls in comparison, with notable exceptions like 28 days later.

and i dont see how its possible for a movie to suck more than the first saw. never star in the movie you write, ever ever ever. (i blame quentin tarantino for that crap)

I hear Slither is supposed to be very, very good (although it edges on comedy a bit). The clips I saw online (in the "over 18" section) look awesome.

I'm a huge Alien nerd. I got the Legacy box set (which is quite nice) and even sat through the AvP movie (ugh).

One of my all-time-favorite horror movies, though, is still Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Both of the remakes (in 1978 and 1993) were surprisingly good, exploring the theme of the original while staying true to its premise.

Actually I just saw Slither tonight at the Starlight and I have to say, totally fucking great. It wasn't that horrific, but it was downright hilarious and actually not that bad in general.
