I don't think my words make sense any more

So I have a huge essay due on monday. Well it's pretty big, as big as anything I've written before. Which isn't saying much as I'm not much of a writer.. but you get the point. Somehow I've managed to write about 1500 words for it today, which is incredible for me. I'm normally the slowest writer in the world. Anyway it's all about the bombing of ( Read more... )

WWII stuff really interests me, I bet your paper is pretty interesting. How long does it have to be?

Also, Dad told me that you're a Big Brother, this is so cool to me. To tell you the truth I've gained a lot of respect for you, not that I didn't respect you before, because I most certainly did, but this is a really amazing thing. Something I'd really like to look into myself next year if I have time. Just wanted you to know that.

Yeah, I find WWII fascinating as well. So many incredible / horrifying thing happened in such a short period of time, it's no wonder there have been hundreds of thousands of books written about it.. you gotta take this class next year, it's great.

I gotta admit that I'm pretty amazed that I've actually gone to the meetings and followed through on this whole little brother thing too. It's a pretty significant investment in time and energy.. I typically want to stay in my comfortable little zone, doing the things I always do (like I imagine most people do). Pushing myself to do something new is certainly a challenge. It's all going pretty well though so far, so thats cool :)

Which course is the paper in?

The thing is time, like you said it's quite the investment, and I feel selfish when I say that because I'm sure I could find time, I'd just have to give certain things up. I'm looking to book in some time for at least some kind of volunteer work next year, hopefully it all works out.

Being that I'm only taking 2 classes it seemed crazy not to be doing some volunteer work. We'll have to see how I'm feeling next year with 5 classes.. hrmm.
