It sounds fabulous. Your menu sounds a lot like mine. I love your centerpiece idea.

The most useful advice my mom ever gave when I was planning my wedding was to register for 16 placesettings of china, crystal and silver. I did that and got it all, but have only used my china, like, twice! LOL!

I was thinking of using cranberries in my centerpiece as well, though not sure how yet!

sounds yummy! you make me want to entertain! what color is your china? I'm so not a china type person but I really want solid white plates, like the whole set. I love the look of a solid colored table cloth, white dishes stacked and a complimentary napkin color "wrapped" around the small plate. so pretty!

My china is white, with a silver rim. very plain, yet elegant.

My DH just got us these really nice, thick white place settings from Crate & Barrell. Pretty inexpensive too!

Sounds amazing! I may need to follow you more closely to copy your entertaining skills. ;-) I will be hosting Thanksgiving at my house this year. Actually hosting, actually cooking. Never before, this is my first! I did have a thought on my table scape though that I am stealing from one Ms. Rachael Ray. I have a glass cake plate and I was going to fill the domed part with pine cones and orange/yellow Christmas type balls and flip it over so it sits on its stand and then put some colorful fall leaves from Michael's at the base.
