So, I figured I'd try to update anyone interested about why Beckon has not posted a post-New-Year's blog. The poor fellah was kicked while down and hit not only with a sinus infection, but what can only be described as food poisoning. I'm so glad you guys could make it; it was great seeing you again.

I sure hope it wasn't the mysterious green pizza that did him in! Give the boy hugs from us (and whatever else you, as Girlfriend, deem appropriate). Melissa always swears by chewing chunks of crystallized ginger for nausea.

Let's definitely find time for more gaming. M's new train game, which we played on Monday, is really fun. After playing once, I grasped it well enough to want to immediately play again so I could do better. I think you both would like it.

January and the first half of February are when I typically disappear from civilization because of work. :-( But even in the midst of our crunch time, I should be able to carve out a Saturday night or two.
