This morning I was awakened by a man in a crane seven feet outside my second story bedroom window with a chainsaw cutting down the tree in my front yard. He was supposed to be there, but it was startling nonetheless. Wow. Matt Tice (or rather, Matttice) has updated his journal. It's so startling that I taste copper!

Sorry I didn't get to hang out much the other night. When are we going to hang out again? We should go do something ridiculous and get mildly (but not seriously) injured.

hi matt. um.. i guess i am writing specifically because i saw your picture on one of the old comments you made on my lj... ya know.. the one where you say maggie gyllenhaal is hot? yeah thats it. and i am secondarily writing because i love you very much. and i miss your bright shining face in my life. and i want to know how things are progressing in life. and i want to know that you are happy. and i want to see you again in a relatively short span of time. and i was wondering if you found the perfect girl for me (just kidding! that was a joke from the 90's!). hows your mom? whats the latest with a departure date for the foreign lands? things are still up and down with me. i will have a string of good days and then for no reason one will totally suck. but right now they suck for good cause.. i have a ton of work for school and i am doing my first sermon for big kids church the sunday after easter. im sure i will be talking with you soon. have an excellent day matt.
