hey, thanks for taking a look, anyhow. according to mulder, this thing is of earthly origins, so it doesn't really surprise me to hear that YOU haven't stumbled across it before.

...kinda sucks, though. i was REALLY looking forward to doing battle with something slimy and tentacle-y FROM BEYOND THE STARS.

you'll let me know if you run into anything fitting that description, right?

Well if all you want is to do battle with something from beyond the stars all you have to do is call me. ;)

Sorry for the lack of tentacles and slime though...

no worries. i've dealt with plenty of slime these past 48 hours, so i don't think i'll miss it.

but since you've offered...

...what if i had something in mind OTHER than battling?

Hi Sam.

I've never seen anything like that at all in my travels, sorry... But I see you've got a lead, so at least that's something.

...You do realize you're going to have to tell us what made that once you catch it, ne? That's like leaving a wrapped present and never letting the recipient open it. Tease.

**smirks** That's...a pretty apt description, actually. ^_^;

I'll get Sanzo to pack it up, and it'll come as a separate package for you. But yes, we're taking precautions to keep the children safe - I don't think a direct attack is this guy's standard operating procedure, but after our last encounter, I really don't want to test that theory...

It looks like a sucker of some kind, but nothing of that size could be living in a sewer.

Been missing you, Sam.

Thank you, Sam. I'll send the item, along with what Kaiba was able to figure out about it, right away. Do you have an address in Chicago that I can express mail it to?

As for your own little issue, I've not seen anything like that, either. All I can say is that it doesn't look like any youkai bite or spell mark that I've ever seen. Let me know how your lead works out, alright?
