okay, you're right, I don't get it. Since I'm in some kind of a black hole concerning good movies here in Germany, I must say that I don't even recall ever having heard about 'Spartan' hitting any theatres here, so it's always news to me if I read an article about it. Yet, I'm somehow sure I have read on IMDB that the movie was shown some years ago already. I mean way before 'Nikita' was aired, so that reference alone is weird enough. Seems like the 'Current' folks aren't current at all. As far as I understand the meaning of this word. But maybe I'm completely doofus.
Random news alert! I just posted this on the TWoP board but thought I'd give you a head's up in case you don't check it often: long-ish new interview with Stanford re: Birkhoff here. Birk wants a real girl, it seems, not just cyber porn. Aww.
I got that at work yesterday. It's kind oif hilarious and also kind of off.. I wonder it it was an e-mail interview since Stanford's word choice trends a little less awkward (I'll bet he's hilarious drunk). Made me a little sad. No clannish? No excessive use of SAT prep adverbs? Fail. I'll have to reread to find the good bits.
You can post the article here if you want. I'm going to post it at ONTD if it's not been posted already.. if you've not posted when I post, I'll post it.
